A day of sport, passion and promotion of the local area brought Bisceglie’s tourist marina to life on the occasion of the 2nd edition of the Sprint Triathlon organized by FitCenter.
Nearly 300 athletes from all over Italy competed last 17 May along a course consisting of 750 metres of swimming, 20 km of cycling and 5 km of running, with the finish line near the Lega Navale. The event involved over 1,000 people, including organizers, volunteers, staff and spectators, and took place in complete safety and with great participation.
Taking the top step of the podium were Daniel De Benedetto in the men’s category and Giorgia Abbatantuono in the women’s category.
